A web page qualifies as a mindtool because it causes the learner to use a variety of skills and knowledge levels. For example, before one even begins to put the information onto a web page they must have a through understanding of the information; thus, the topic must be researched. Of coures, any reasearch requires one to locate, analyse, organize, and synthesize the information. Additionally, I learned that during the process of connecting web pages I began to see relationship which I had not recognized during my pencil and paper stage. As a result of this project I have learned that making a web page in the middle and upper grades of an Elementary Education would be a challenging, fun and purposeful learning experience.
This Web Page has been constructed for Dr. Edward George at Florida Gulf Coast University for the class titled Computers for Teachers by Carol W. deTschaschell, who is a student of Elementary Education.
