Examine the history of slavery in the U.S. and how it contributed to the Civil War. Students will use available technology to research and present information in response to a series of student-generated questions.

"The Price of War"
The learner will use information technology to collect data on an assigned Civil War Battle. The data will be used to create an individual spreadsheet and then contributed toward a class comparative graph. Each student will participate in a group creation of a timeline of battles researched. The timeline will also include the key events of the Civil War.
