Learning Portfolios are graded in the following areas: Integrative essay (Reflective narrative), content for each standard, artifact entries, grammar, coherence, proofreading, and format. The highest score in each rubric area is in bold. To pass, a student must score at least the second highest value in the "Integrative Essay" section and the "Artifact Entries" section. In addition, the total point value must be at least 18 or higher out of the total possible 24 points.

3	Integrative Essay Content	3	Four or five of the ten essays were not covered very well, and much of the detail is lacking, or the student used mostly course content to show proof of competency without focusing on how course content is integrated into the standards. It is difficult to determine if the student has mastered these standards.

The Portfolio must be in electronic format, and the student has used or supplied the appropriate software for faculty to read the portfolio, and has supplied the portfolio on disk (CD-Rom, zip, or URL to Website). There are clear instruction on how to use the student’s portfolio.
