Program in Educational Leadership
Course Sequence Information

Many courses build upon the knowledge base in other courses, and it is therefore difficult to complete some courses without the prerequisite knowledge. Yet, because of the nature of our student population that is composed mostly of adult professionals who sometimes have difficult class scheduling needs, we do not require prerequisite. Nevertheless, students enrolled in the Program in Educational Leadership are encouraged to follow a course sequence during their program.

To help students better plan their courses, we have developed a three tier system. In the ideal program, students would take all courses in the first tier before moving on to those in the second tier.

"Ideal example programs" have also been established to guide students who take two courses each semester. Please see these examples “Student Schedules” in the Student Handbook. Should you have any questions, please see your advisor for help.
