What can you find on this webpage?

After the publication of the National Reading Panel Report, Florida developed a plan to address what emerged as scientifically based research strategies to be used in classrooms across the state.  This webpage addresses the five components of reading highlighted in both the report and the Florida plan:  phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.  For each component you will find an annotated list of websites found to be teacher-friendly and supportive of that component.

Undergraduate students enrolled in RED 4310, Early Literacy Learning, during the Spring 2003 term at Florida Gulf Coast University, compiled these sites.
