What was your undergraduate major when you started and when you graduated?
Fine Arts to Social Science

When you think of professional mentors, who had an influence on you?
Undergraduate: history professor; Graduate: counselor

What philosophy or theory is most appealing to you in your work?
Everyone has something unique to offer and will if in a receptive environment.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or special interests?
gardening, painting, writing poetry and fairy tales for adults.

What is one of your favorite books or quotes?
We become uncomfortable when life events exceed our resources or our resources exceed the challenges of our life.

What are your research interests?
motivation to succeed and factors that change destructive attitudes.

What is one thing that you would like students to know about?
I will do everything I can to help them reach their education goals.
