Elif Safak is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Culture. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics education, as well as general instructional methods. She also supervises Interns, works with partners and teacher candidates in Professional Development Schools. Her research interests include: Pre-service teacher learning and development, in-service teacher professional development, mathematics teachers content knowledge for teaching.
