Diane came to FGCU as an adjunct in 2006. She supervised non-final teacher candidates and taught for the COE. In the fall of 2008, she became part of the full time faculty when she accepted the coordinator for block 4 internship/instructor position. Diane is a Fort Myers native and has also spent the past 20 years as an educator in Lee County. Her teaching certificate is for elementary education and integrated curriculum for middle grades. She has endorsements for ESOL and gifted education as well. Not only does she have a passion for education, Diane is also an advocate for children's mental health. In her spare time, she enjoys her family and friends, reading, and the local natural environment.
