Dr. Shelby Gilbert is an assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction. She received her doctorate of education in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in comparative and international education from Florida International University. Her primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the undergraduate Child and Youth Studies program. Her research interests are international education assessments, equitable education for underrepresented students, and education for environmental justice and sustainability.
